First week of Total Fijian Happiness!!!

When we arrived in Nadi, Fiji, we had some troubles with some of our documents, so we had to wait a while in Immigrations.

THIS WAS PLANNED BY HEAVENLY FATHER.

It gave me opportunities to share the gospel, in the lines, with everyone, everywhere around us!  One person was also having troubles with their documents, and I got to talk to him and write my testimony in the front of a Book of Mormon; Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and give it to him.  Everything Heavenly Father does, is to lift, love, bless, exalt and help His beloved children. YOU MIGHT NOT REALIZE IT BUT, EVERY MOMENT YOU'RE IN, Heavenly Father has someone you can lift, love, and share light and joy with.  The whole world is prepared to receive this restored gospel--I'm convinced of this!  YOU are how it's going to get to them.  Burn bright!Seriously!! The world needs your light!  (emphasis on NEEDS ) Pray to be enabled, and He will enable you!

Believe He will.
Because, I know and testify He can and will.
Trust Him fully, perfectly and completely.
You've got power! Use it!
It's His power; and He'll give it to you if you ask.

I dare you!  This work is fun!

JOIN ME!

join Heavenly Father! Come roll up your sleeves and get some ridiculous eternal happiness!!
You get happiness by sharing it!
The restored gospel is where all of it is--so sharing the gospel is the way to get all of the happiness in existence by sharing it!!!!!
When we figured out our documents and were good to go, we just kept sharing the gospel!
We got on a bus that would take us to Suva (halfway around the island, on the other side of Viti Levu).
Fiji Buses are NOT like American buses!  They are PACKED.  There is no space wasted!  There's practically no isle at all down the middle of the bus, and there is constantly loud pop music playing.  There's no such thing as personal space.  I love it!!!

I was seated by a young adult hindi man.  We talked the entire bus ride!  I was blown away by Fiji's beauty and woooooooooooooooooooooooow it's a spectactle beyond what you'd believe! MAN! WOW! But, I wasn't taking any pictures or focusing on the beauty of Fiji, because that's not what I'm here to do.  I was consumed in taking to this guy, to bring him closer to his Savior, Jesus Christ.  I shared the Testimony of The Prophet Joseph Smith pamphlet, we went through almost all of it, and the Spirit was so strong testify of the truths that we discussed.  I learned so much from this man.  He has blessed me so much!  He's had such incredible experiences in his life.

EVERYBODY IS(HAS) AN INTERESTING STORY.

their story is there to be heard! go hear it! you'll love it!!! EVery soul is beautiful and you can learn something from literally everyone you talk to!

Then, we had to get off that bus and transfer over to another line, in order to get to Suva.

On this next bus, I was seated by one Fijian woman who was too depressed to talk to me at all, and a Indian woman and her 7yr old daughter... neither of which spoke any Fijian or English.  I asked Heavenly Father to bless me to be able to share the gospel anyway--and just like I promised you and He promises all of us; He enabled me!  I got out a pad of paper and drew things about myself, like Unicycling while playing guitar and singing.  I got out the General Conference Ensign and showed them pictures from it.  I got out a stack of pictures of the Savior's life and ministry, and these things all uplifted them and brought them closer to Jesus Christ. I also pulled out my super-marked scriptures, and they were impossible to not look at--very colorful and written in.  And then for the Fijian woman, I got out my Fijian "True To The Faith" book and went to the topic, "Adversity," and read it aloud and next to her so she could see it if she chose to.

We had no food to eat or water to drink for so many hours while on our way to Suva, and I still had my suit coat on.  But, we were overpowered with happiness.  The gospel is food and water and airconditioning beyond anything the earth can provide for our physical bodies alone.

I lost my bus ticket in a Book of Mormon I gave to someone on the bus.  But Heavenly Father blessed that book to not make it off the bus--so I could have my ticket.  Wow! Heavenly Father is literally on top of literally everything!  It's amazing to watch and participate in!  You can come participate in it too!  I invite you! He invites you!

We were picked up by missionaries waiting for us at the bus stop in Suva.  They drove us to the Temple grounds where the Mission Home is located.  I hugged my mission president, President Layton, right when I saw him! He and Sister Layton are incredible! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH !!!!  THIS IS THE BEST MISSION IN THE WORLD

We went to town and bought my first Sulu! (The Man-Skirt)

SO MUCH BETTER THAN PANTS!!!! I NEVER WANT TO SWITCH BACK!

Handing out $100 bills on my way to Fiji!!

We arrived at the Airport and I immediately shared the gospel with everyone.  I have shared the gospel freely and fully ever minute since that first moment I stepped off the bus.   I have 00.0% regrets, and 3697235873567634959538972836925823419515245343453437655% JOYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! SARA GA!!!!

Sharing joy and love is easy!  So do it!  The one thing that keeps us and holds us back from sharing the brilliant and glorious restored gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ, with EVERYONE, is that
we overthink, overcomplicate, WHEN REALLY, THE THING THAT WILL FREE US, IS TO SEE THAT IT'S SIMPLER THAN WE THINK. It's like a billion $100 bills! And I'm out on the streets offering it to literally everyone and anyone. It simply fills me with joy, so I can't keep from sharing it--and when I do share it, it's natural and simple. Just say, "Hey! Here's $100! It's the reason I'm so ridiculously happy and I want you to have it! Here--it's a gift for you!" And if they don't want it--too bad; I'll just offer $100 to the next person!
Except this restored gospel is infinitely and lastingly eternally and enduringly valuable than a $100 bill!
LOVE IS THE MOTIVE!

SPIRIT IS THE KEY!

CHRIST IS THE REASON!

FAITH IS THE POWER!

AND IT'S AWESOME!
The airplane that took us from SLC to LAX, was the smallest plane I've ever been in! Held 60 people tops!
The airplane that took us from LAX to Nandi, Fiji, was the biggest plane I've ever been in!

On the plane to LA, me and the two wonderful people behind me, spoke enthusiastically about the gospel the entire flight!  They are AWESOME! We were talking the whole time, and the entire plane could hear everything we said.  The gospel is for everyone, in any situation you find yourself.
Just stop. Pray, ask Heavenly Father to help you share the gospel in the situation you find yourself--Then step forward with perfect confidence and faith in Him.  He'll always grant that plea. From experience, I can guarantee!
On the small plane, those wonderful Children of God I talked with the entire time, enthusiastically agreed to read the entire Gospel of Jesus Christ, Plan of Salvation, Restoration, and Family Proclamation to The World pamphlets! And THEN to give them to their friends and family.  They said that everyone needs these precious truths and they are excited to share it full of happiness and love as they received it!  I love them so much!!!!

It's hard to recount all the instances I shared the gospel on the way to Fiji.  Heavenly Father filled my cup to overflowing!  Had wonderful conversations with everyone, gave away "What's The Purpose of Life?" cards, copies of the Book of Mormon, pamphlets, my testimony, my smile, my love!  I am confident I can say I followed every single prompting Heavenly Father gave me!  I'm not here to pass up one single chance I have to lift and love and brighten and exalt my fellow eternal beings.  This is the work of Christ!  He fills me with joy that surpasses all understanding as I serve with Him, completely one with Him and enabled by Him.  He has taught me that Humility and Love and Personal Righteousness link us with real power!  They're the only things that DO!!!! The world only offers to suck us dry and destroy our souls and leave us empty and dreadfully chained and in despair.
GET UP RIGHT NOW.

SHARE CHRIST.

NEVER. NEVER HESITATE AGAIN!

IF YOU ASK HIM, HE'LL ENABLE AND STRENGTHEN YOU to be able to do this!!!

He and I promise you this.
As a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ, I extend this blessing and promise.
(Zoom in and read this quote)
The airports in LA and Fiji are astounding and breathtaking.  Maybe one day you will experience them or I will have time to tell you about them... wow.... wOAH!!!!!!!!!!!  I got to speak in Fijian to a Fijian family in the LA airport, and I shared the Plan of Salvation with them.

The flight from L.A. to Fiji, was ELEVEN HOURS LONG!!!!! It was awesome!!!!!!! I was seated with other missionaries in my zone from the MTC.  I wanted to share the gospel with others, but then Heavenly Father told me that my calling is to minister to literally everyone-and that includes other missionaries!! So I had a great time talking with Sister Kora on the way to Fiji.  Then, later I was able to share the gospel by asking a couple next to a window seat on the plane, to take pictures with my camera for me--since I wasn't next to a window seat. We talked and had such a great time.  They're going to check out http://www.mormon.org/christmas

My First Week as a Fijian!

FIRST WEEK AS A FIJIAN!!

As much as I want to just jump into the RIDICULOUSLY GREAT MIRACLES that have happened in these first 7days in Fiji, I've got to back up to where I left you at the last update.

Leaving the Missionary Training Center:

I'm the one with the "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY" shirt.  This is my entire islander zone/dorm in the MTC.  This is my family.  My love for them, is eternal and deeper than I can express. These are each incredible, powerful disciples of Jesus Christ.  These halls will go forth and change endless billions of lives--what an honor it is to be a part of the greatest army on earth, in the greatest battle of the eternities.  This truly is the work of the Lord, and I know it beyond doubt, from Him.

This was our last Fijian Lesson as a District in the MTC.  I will forever be grateful for our excellent friend and teacher, Brother Crump.  He has changed our lives, and we have him to thank for all the endless lives we'll change, lift, exalt, save, brighten and love in Fiji.  He has been Heavenly Father's tool in preparing us to go forth prepared to bring God's children back to Him.  Brother Crump is a returned missionary who served in Fiji some years back.

Some of our Zone and others from the MTC saying bye to us as we leave.  We got in a huge shuttle bus that was then taking us to the Salt Lake City Airport.  It's impossible to say how filled with joy I felt as I left the MTC.  Every person I looked at, I could see them with Heavenly Father's eyes; I'm filled with perfect love for them and I can discern what they need and what they're feeling and how much they hunger and yearn for the gospel.  The emotions I felt on that bus, were Celestial!  Unforgettable!  Heavenly Father told me to write a note to the bus driver, and the Spirit directed me in bearing my testimony to the things Heavenly Father knew he needed.  Missionary work is lifting and loving and saving all the precious souls of our Heavenly Father's children--that includes literally everyone at every moment.  Follow every prompting you get from the Holy Ghost.  Heavenly Father needs us to reach up and reach out.  This is where joy comes from!  I challenge you to do too much good!  Compliment too much! Testify too much! Love too much! Pray for others too much! Trust Heavenly Father too perfectly! THE WORK TO DO IS NOW. NOW IS THE TIME WE'RE ON EARTH FOR. DO LITERALLY ALL AND ANY GOOD you can in each moment you find yourself in.
This is the short day Heavenly Father has given us to do His work.  Let's seize literally every opportunity He gives us!

Arrived!!!

I'm here in Fiji!!!!

Whatever you've heard or seen or thought of Fiji before--forget it all!!

IT'S EVEN BETTER!

It's better than you could possibly know without being here.

If I had time, there are bookloads of miracles and experiences I've had, which I really want to share!!!!

Just know that I'm in my skirt. I'm Fijian.  I'm super happy.

...and I've been able to share the gospel pretty much literally everywhere constantly.
